Climbing "Charly und Lola" (grade 8) in "Kreuzwand Linker Teil" was a truly memorable experience. The route is known for its sustained difficulty and technical sequences on slightly overhanging terrain. Finding the right body position and trusting my feet were crucial for success. The crux involved a powerful move off a small crimp to a sloping hold, followed by a delicate sequence to gain the next good hold. It required precise footwork and a good understanding of body tension. The sense of accomplishment upon reaching the top was immense, making all the effort well worth it. The views from the Kreuzwand are also stunning, adding to the overall satisfaction of sending this challenging climb.
