Climbing "LET ME LIFE" (9-) in the Lake Garda Mountains was an incredible experience. The route, known for its sustained power endurance and intricate sequences, demanded everything I had. The tufa-strewn limestone, typical of the area, offered both excellent holds and frustratingly insecure ones. Every move felt like a calculated risk, a delicate dance between commitment and control. The crux involved a series of powerful pulls on small crimps, followed by a dynamic reach to a sloping sidepull. Finding the right body position and maintaining tension was crucial. Reaching the anchor felt like a victory not just over the rock, but over myself. The stunning views of Lake Garda shimmering below added to the satisfaction, a breathtaking backdrop to a hard-earned ascent. The entire climb was a reminder of the beauty and challenge that the Lake Garda Mountains offer.
