Climbing 'Hranka' (grade II) at Lipová skála is a quintessential experience for beginners and a pleasant warm-up for more experienced climbers. This classic route, named for its distinct edge ('hrana' in Czech), offers straightforward yet engaging climbing on excellent sandstone. The ascent is characterized by positive holds and good foot placements, making it highly accessible and confidence-inspiring. Protection is readily available, and the exposure is moderate, allowing climbers to fully appreciate the beautiful surroundings without undue stress. Upon topping out, climbers are greeted with scenic views of the surrounding forest. The descent is typically a short, easy walk-off around the back of the formation, though a quick rappel is also an option.
