Zakantou

Climbing "Zakantou" (grade 7) in "Malá věž" is a classic Czech climbing experience. "Malá věž" (Little Tower) is a prominent rock formation, and "Zakantou" offers a challenging and rewarding climb. Typically, the route involves engaging crimps, delicate footwork, and a good sense of balance. The rock is often polished due to its popularity, adding to the technical difficulty. Expect a mix of vertical and slightly overhanging sections. Protecting the route generally involves placing quickdraws on pre-placed bolts, although checking the condition of the bolts and supplementing with trad gear where needed is always a good practice, especially on older routes.
