Climbing 'Pokání' (Grade VI UIAA, equivalent to approximately 5.8-5.9 YDS or French 5b/c) in 'Ráj' is a true classic of the Bohemian sandstone climbing scene. This iconic route, often considered a must-do for climbers tackling the grade, offers a fantastic blend of exposed climbing and thoughtful moves. The ascent typically involves negotiating a mix of chimneys, cracks, and face sections, demanding good technique and a calm head, especially given the traditional protection style of sandstone. The rock quality is generally excellent, providing reliable friction, and despite its moderate grade, it feels adventurous.
