BASTIAMOLA

Climbing 'Bastiamola' (grade 8) in 'Settore Alto' was an experience. The route is a relentless sequence of powerful moves on steep, slightly overhanging rock. The crux revolves around a crimp traverse requiring precision footwork and solid core strength to avoid a dreaded swing. The holds are generally good but often require aggressive pulling. Stamina is key, as the difficulty doesn't let up until the very top. A true test of both power and endurance, rewarding persistence with stunning views.
