Grade: 4+

Climbing "Koutem" (grade 4+) in "Strážní věž" (Watchtower) is a classic route offering a rewarding experience for climbers familiar with this grade. The route typically involves a mix of vertical and slightly overhanging sections, demanding good footwork and solid pulling power. The rock is often well-featured, providing adequate holds, but careful route finding is still important to avoid unnecessary difficulty. The exposure can be significant, particularly higher up the route, adding to the overall excitement and requiring a head for heights. Protection is generally good, with well-placed bolts along the key sections, allowing for confident progress. However, some sections might require placing your own gear for added security, especially between bolted anchors. Successfully completing "Koutem" provides a great sense of accomplishment and a fantastic view from the top of "Strážní věž". Remember to always check the latest conditions and weather forecast before heading out, and to climb within your abilities.

- Rock sectors of the Žďárské vrchy have the status of specially protected areas (natural monuments or reserves)
- The following applies to all sectors except Čtyři palice:
- Access to the rocks by the shortest routes from marked tourist routes
- Climbing on objects other than marked ones and outside the permitted period only with a written permit from the PLA administration
- Use magnesium only with written permission from the PLA administration - replacement and installation of belays and marking of rocks and routes only with written consent from the PLA administration
- Organizing sports, tourist and other events only with the written consent of the PLA administration
