Climbing the "Edelweißsteig" on the Burg-Türnerwand is a serious undertaking. Rated at a demanding grade 9 (UIAA), this route on the Veitschalpe Türnerwand offers a challenging and rewarding experience for experienced climbers. Expect sustained exposure, technical climbing on mostly solid limestone, and requiring impeccable route-finding skills. The views from the top, however, are well worth the effort, offering a panoramic vista of the surrounding Alps. This climb is not for the faint of heart and should only be attempted by those with a solid foundation in alpine climbing and a high level of fitness.
