If climbing a route primarily intended for free climbing using aid techniques (using gear for progress), the following restrictions apply:

<span class="text-success fw-bold position-absolute start-0 top-0">✔</span>
<strong>Allowed:</strong> Use only <em>removable protection</em> (e.g., nuts, cams, slings) that leaves no trace.

<li class="position-relative ps-4 mb-2">
<span class="text-danger fw-bold position-absolute start-0 top-0">✘</span>
<strong>Forbidden:</strong> It is strictly forbidden to use any protection placed with a hammer or drilling (pitons, bolts, expansion bolts).
