Climbing "Höhlenüberhang" (5) in the Vienna Woods was a delightful and engaging experience. The route, despite its moderate grade, offered a good mix of technical holds and stemming positions. The rock was solid and provided reliable grip, which was reassuring given the slightly overhanging nature of the climb. The "cave overhang" itself provided a unique feeling of exposure without being too intimidating for a climber of my ability. Finding the right sequence through the crux was rewarding, and the views of the surrounding Vienna Woods from the top were a beautiful bonus. It's a climb that rewards good technique and offers a great sense of accomplishment, especially for those looking to progress in their climbing journey.
