Herzblut

Climbing "Herzblut" (grade 7) in Wetzsteinmugel was an incredible experience. The route itself is a classic Wetzsteinmugel climb, characterized by its technical slab moves and crimpy holds. The rock felt solid beneath my fingers, providing just enough friction to keep me secure. Each move required precision and a delicate balance, forcing me to focus entirely on the task at hand. The crux section, about halfway up, demanded a burst of power and precise footwork. After several attempts, I finally stuck the move and managed to clip the next bolt. The feeling of accomplishment at the top was immense. The view from the summit of Wetzsteinmugel, overlooking the surrounding landscape, was the perfect reward for the effort. "Herzblut" truly lives up to its name, demanding heart and soul to conquer.
