Climbing the Kopiščarjeva pot on Prisojnik (grade C/D) is a challenging and rewarding alpine experience in the Julian Alps of Slovenia. This via ferrata, named after the mountaineer Kopiščar, ascends the north face of Prisojnik, offering stunning views and exposed traverses. The route is characterized by its sustained difficulty, featuring steep rock faces, vertical climbs, and sections of exposed scrambling. While the metal cables and rungs provide security, a good level of fitness, surefootedness, and previous via ferrata experience are essential. Expect demanding physical exertion, exposure to heights, and the need for careful route finding. The panoramic views from the summit of Prisojnik are a well-deserved reward for conquering this magnificent climb.
