Climbing Krupa Canyon, designated as Grade B, was an unforgettable adventure that perfectly balanced exhilarating challenges with breathtaking natural beauty. This grade signifies a moderate level of technical difficulty, requiring a good mix of skills including rappelling, scrambling, and swimming through refreshing pools. The descent involved navigating several impressive waterfalls, each offering a unique rappelling experience – some short and slick, others longer and more exposed, demanding precise rope work and careful foot placement. Between the technical sections, the canyon opened up to reveal stunning rock formations, sculpted by millennia of water flow, and vibrant green vegetation clinging to the canyon walls. There were opportunities for exhilarating jumps into deep, crystal-clear pools, adding a playful element to the journey. The water was cool and invigorating, a welcome relief from the exertion. The overall feeling was one of deep immersion in nature, with the rushing water and the calls of birds as our constant soundtrack. Completing Krupa Canyon (Grade B) left us with a profound sense of accomplishment, having successfully navigated its challenges and witnessed its spectacular, hidden wonders.
