The exposed sections offer stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, making the physical exertion worthwhile. Expect challenging vertical sections, some overhanging passages, and traverses that require focused footwork and upper body strength. The continuous need for clipping and unclipping carabiners adds to the mental and physical fatigue. Proper equipment, including a helmet, harness, via ferrata set, and gloves, is essential. Before attempting Osobac, ensure you are familiar with via ferrata techniques and weather conditions, as sudden changes can make the route significantly more dangerous. A guide or experienced partner is highly recommended, especially for those new to Grade D ferratas.
