Climbing 'Hustopeče' at the Myslivec crag, a route graded 8-/8, was a truly memorable experience. This line demands precision, technical finesse, and a solid dose of finger strength. The rock, typical of the area, offers intricate sequences with small crimps and delicate foot placements, leading to a powerful crux that really tests your endurance. It's not just about raw power; finding the optimal body position is key. After working the moves and linking sections, the redpoint felt incredibly satisfying. The atmosphere at Myslivec, surrounded by nature, always adds to the enjoyment. 'Hustopeče' is definitely a benchmark route for its grade and a fantastic climb that I highly recommend.
