Petrova plotna, a renowned Grade VI (UIAA) climb located within the Pod Okapem area, presents a quintessential challenge in technical slab climbing. The route's namesake, the 'plotna' or slab, defines its character: a demanding ascent on relatively smooth rock that requires absolute precision in footwork, impeccable balance, and a calm demeanor. It is widely regarded as a classic benchmark for the grade in Czech climbing, offering sustained exposure and a truly rewarding experience as you ascend. The views from the top are spectacular. Descent is typically via abseil.
