Rock Climbing Vertical wall
Climbing 'Zlatá horečka' ('Gold Rush'), a grade 6 route in the 'Žlutá stěna' ('Yellow Wall'), is a memorable experience. The route lives up to its name, offering a rewarding, if sometimes precarious, journey to the top. The rock is generally solid, but requires careful footwork and precise hand placements. Expect a mix of technical crimping, delicate stemming, and powerful moves on slightly overhanging sections.
The exposure on 'Žlutá stěna' adds to the thrill, providing stunning views of the surrounding landscape. While not overly long, 'Zlatá horečka' demands respect and a well-rounded climbing skill set. Be prepared for pumpy sequences and a satisfying feeling of accomplishment upon reaching the anchor. A true classic of the area, 'Zlatá horečka' is a must-do for any climber comfortable at the grade.
