Kletterkiste - DAV Kletterzentrum Mainz

The Kletterkiste is the climbing centre of the DAV Sektion Mainz, run mostly by volunteers. It has more than 100 routes (grades 3–8), an outdoor wall usable in daylight until 20:00 in good weather, and a bouldering area. There are no fixed opening hours: weekly climbing slots are booked and paid online. No supervision is provided, so you need a partner and must belay yourself; beginners should take a course.
