Rájec lies about 2 km from Tisá along a quiet minor road and is a calmer alternative to the busy Tisá Walls. It has lots of smaller free-standing towers and some lower walls in every aspect; the longer routes on the valley faces mostly face south and south-west. climbing.place lists more than 1,500 routes here, plus a small bouldering sector around the Ptačí stěny.
Park by the road or in the paid car park in the village; the crags are 200–800 m away along tracks and paths.

Ostříží stěny and the Rájec valley are closed in spring for nesting birds. Check the current dates in the ČHS crag database.
The ČHS rules for climbing in Bohemian sandstone areas apply.
- Chalk is banned.
- No metal protection (cams, nuts, pitons) – only slings, knots and textile "UFOs" between the rings.
- Climb on dry rock only – wet sandstone softens and breaks.
- Do not alter the rock surface.
- Abseil from the summit rings.
