Rules

- Climbing individually, there is no agreement for mass and organized events. - Do not modify the surface of the rock, do not remove vegetation. - If any disturbances are detected, interrupt the ascent and immediately inform OP (Nature Conservation). - Belaying with existing fixed anchors and removable (textile) anchors that do not damage the rock. - For first ascents, only fixed anchors approved by OVK (Climbing Commission).

Nature Conservation: Climbing allowed all year round, temporary restrictions may occur due to nesting. Nature Conservation Document PR Ostaš Decision 2017, Nature Conservation Authority Broumovsko Protected Landscape Area Administration.

The ČHS sandstone rules apply: no chalk, no metal protection and dry rock only.

The area lies in the Broumov PLA. Check the ČHS crag database for any restrictions.

  • The ČHS rules and those of the local regional climbing commissions apply.
  • Creating or chipping holds is banned.
  • Chalk is banned or only tolerated, depending on the area.
  • No climbing on wet rock – after rain or in winter this can mean hours or days.
