Rabštejn near Rýmařov is, with more than 240 routes on 20 rocks, the largest area in the Hrubý Jeseník mountains. The rocks with the most routes include Kouty, Druhá věž, Severní hřeben, Masiv u panny, Tělocvična and Květina. Bolted sport routes prevail; grades from 2 to 10-.

Rules

Climbing is allowed year-round. First ascents are not allowed except for rocks where routes already exist. It is forbidden to damage and change the surface of the rocks and to use winter climbing equipment. PR Rabštejn_OOP 2021-2029

Much of the range lies in the Jeseníky PLA. Check the ČHS crag database for any restrictions.

The ČHS rules for Czech rock areas and the local regional commission's rules apply: do not alter the rock or holds, do not climb on wet rock, and follow ČHS principles for first ascents.
