Climbing 'Drýmr' in the Drýmr crag is a memorable experience. This 7- route, while not the hardest climb I've ever done, presents a satisfying blend of technical climbing and sustained power. The rock is generally solid, though careful footwork is crucial for navigating the slightly polished sections. The crux involves a tricky sequence of crimps and a powerful move to a good hold. Finding the right body position here is key to conserving energy. After the crux, the climbing eases slightly, but still requires focus until you clip the chains. The views from the top are well worth the effort, offering a beautiful panorama of the surrounding landscape. It's a route that demands respect and rewards a well-executed ascent. Definitely a worthwhile addition to any climber's tick list visiting the Drýmr area.
