Tackling '157' (grade 7-) on Dubová věž was a true test and a rewarding adventure. The sandstone of the 'Oak Tower' presented its characteristic challenges: intricate slab sections demanding delicate balance, interspersed with more positive, albeit often fragile, holds. The 7- grade felt spot-on, especially a particular crux sequence that required a blend of technical precision and careful trust in friction. Each move was a calculated effort, pushing both physical limits and mental focus. Reaching the summit offered a breathtaking reward: panoramic views stretching across the landscape, a perfect culmination to the climb. Descending, I carried a sense of accomplishment and a deep appreciation for the unique beauty of Czech sandstone climbing.
