Snoopy

Our latest rock climbing adventure led us deep into the heart of the Graz Mountains, with our sights firmly set on the celebrated 'Snoopy' route, a demanding 5+ graded ascent. Known for its technical challenges, 'Snoopy' did not disappoint. The route winds its way up stunning limestone, offering a diverse array of climbing: intricate slab sections requiring delicate footwork, powerful yet precise moves over small overhangs, and airy traverses that heighten the sense of exposure. Despite its playful name, 'Snoopy' is a serious undertaking, demanding concentration and solid technique. Each pitch was a rewarding puzzle, culminating in a magnificent summit view that stretched across the Styrian landscape. The descent, whether by abseil or an easier path, was filled with the satisfaction of a challenging and memorable climb. 'Snoopy' in the Graz Mountains truly stands out as a classic 5+ experience, a perfect blend of challenge, beauty, and the pure joy of movement on rock.
