Snoopy's Alptraum

Climbing "Snoopy's Alptraum," a grade 7 route in the Graz Mountains, is a formidable ascent. Its name, "Snoopy's Nightmare," aptly hints at the challenge it presents. We began our climb, the rock cool and inviting under our fingertips. Every move on this grade 7 pitch demanded precision and unwavering focus. There were sections that truly tested our limits, requiring delicate footwork and significant finger strength. The exposure grew with each meter gained, yet the panoramic views of the surrounding Graz Mountains were nothing short of breathtaking. Reaching the top was an immense feeling of relief and triumph. It wasn't a nightmare, but a beautiful test of skill and mental fortitude, leaving us with a profound sense of accomplishment and unforgettable memories of the stunning Styrian landscape.
