Genusstour

The Gutenstein Alps provided the perfect backdrop for our recent 'Genusstour,' a multi-pitch climb graded 4+. It was exactly what the name suggests: a pure pleasure tour. The morning air was crisp as we started, and the limestone, typically solid and grippy, offered delightful climbing. Each pitch unfolded with a rhythmic flow, demanding just enough attention to keep us engaged without ever feeling strenuous. The exposure, while present, added to the exhilaration rather than causing anxiety, and the panoramic views of the rolling hills and distant peaks were truly breathtaking. Reaching the summit, a sense of quiet satisfaction washed over us. This route was a wonderful blend of moderate challenge, stunning scenery, and enjoyable movement – a quintessential Genusstour that left us refreshed and eager for the next adventure.
