Climbing "Foton" (7-) in Hangár was a powerful experience. The route is characterized by steep, slightly overhanging climbing on consistently positive holds. The crux involves a tricky sequence of stemming and reaching for a rounded hold, requiring good body tension and precise footwork. The rest of the climb is a sustained effort, demanding stamina and efficient movement. Reaching the anchor provided a great sense of accomplishment after battling this demanding and rewarding climb.
