The Hexenstein (also known as Sass de Stria, 'Witch's Rock' in Ladin) is a distinctive peak in the Dolomites, prominently visible from Passo Falzarego. Its 'Südkante' (South Edge) is a renowned classic climbing route, graded at 5- (UIAA). This route is celebrated for its excellent, solid Dolomite limestone, offering sustained yet not overly difficult climbing on a beautifully exposed ridge.
