Climbing 'Široký komín' (Wide Chimney) in the 'Hlavní sektor' is a classic Grade 3 experience. This route is an excellent choice for beginners or as an enjoyable warm-up for more challenging climbs. As a chimney, it demands a unique set of techniques, often requiring you to brace against opposing rock faces. While it can feel somewhat enclosed, it's not overly exposed, which contributes to its approachable nature. You'll find yourself stemming, bridging, and utilizing your entire body to ascend. It's a physically engaging yet highly rewarding climb, offering a genuine taste of traditional chimney climbing without being overly demanding. A memorable and enjoyable route within a popular sector.
