Climbing "Stará skoba" (grade 3+) on Hlavní skála (Vyhlídka) is a delightful experience. This classic route offers a pleasant introduction to climbing on sandstone, characterized by its unique texture and often requiring careful footwork. The climb itself is not overly strenuous, making it suitable for climbers with some experience or those comfortable on easier routes. The exposure gradually increases as you ascend, providing increasingly rewarding views of the surrounding landscape. Reaching the summit of Hlavní skála after tackling "Stará skoba" is particularly satisfying, as it offers panoramic vistas. Be sure to assess the sandstone's condition, especially after rain, as it can become fragile. Also, proper placement of protection is crucial, considering the nature of the rock. All in all, "Stará skoba" provides a memorable and enjoyable climbing adventure on a prominent landmark.

Žďárské vrchy Protected Landscape Area
- Rock sectors of the Žďárské vrchy have the status of specially protected areas (natural monuments or reserves)
- The following applies to all sectors except Čtyři palice:
- Access to the rocks by the shortest routes from marked tourist routes
- Climbing on objects other than marked ones and outside the permitted period only with a written permit from the PLA administration
- Use magnesium only with written permission from the PLA administration - replacement and installation of belays and marking of rocks and routes only with written consent from the PLA administration
- Organizing sports, tourist and other events only with the written consent of the PLA administration
