Gelbe Verschneidung

Climbing 'Gelbe Verschneidung' (Yellow Chimney) on the Hochschwab is a classic alpine experience demanding solid skills and a good head for heights. Graded 6/6+ (UIAA), this route offers a mix of challenging chimney climbing, exposed traverses, and sustained sections of technical rock. The Hochschwab's characteristic limestone provides excellent friction but can also be polished in places.
