Rope Length: 70m

Climbing "Französinnenschreck" (Frenchwoman's Terror) at Hohe Wand is an experience etched in my memory. The route, a classic 7- (UIAA), presents a compelling blend of technical climbing and exposure. The rock is generally solid, but requires careful footwork and precise hand placements, particularly on the crux sections. There are several memorable moves: a delicate traverse with small crimps, a powerful pull-up over a bulge, and a sustained sequence demanding stamina. The views from Hohe Wand are, as always, breathtaking, adding to the overall sense of accomplishment. Finding the route can be slightly tricky, so it's recommended to have a good topo or climb with someone who knows the area. Overall, a fantastic climb that tests your skills and rewards you with stunning scenery.
