Start at the base of the valley (E) wall. Along the ledge under the overhang, traverse right, via crack and chimney to the pillar. Step across to the small platform, up the wall and overhanging gully to the balcony. Via crack to the overgrown platform and up the chimney below the N edge. Continue via the 'Old Route'.
