Overview

Grade: 7/7+

Ascent dedicated to the memory of J. Čihula, who started this route in 1959, but did not complete it. A chimney runs through the center of the valley wall. Start without placing gear and upwards to the belay at the end of the chimney. From the belay first upwards and traverse left to the crack and easily along it to the summit.

Part of the terrain is in the Jizerskohorské Beech Forest National Nature Reserve. Climbing in the reserve is allowed year-round only on designated objects and in areas defined in the map appendix. It is not allowed to modify and change the surface of the rock, ice climbing is allowed with sufficient ice thickness in designated sectors. Drytooling is only allowed in the quarry in Oldřichov. Bird nesting must be reported. - Magnesium is only allowed from grade VIIIb of the Jizera scale.
