Hot As Ice

Climbing 'Hot As Ice' (8/8+) in 'Lovesickness' was a brutal and beautiful dance. The rock was unforgiving, sharp edges biting into my skin with every move. The holds were sparse and technical, demanding precision and absolute commitment. It felt like walking a tightrope stretched across a furnace. Each crimp was a victory, each heel hook a moment of precarious balance. The crux, a powerful sequence of underclings and high steps, tested my physical and mental strength to its limit. Doubt crept in, whispering about failure, but the sheer beauty of the line, the burning desire to reach the top, pushed me through. The sense of accomplishment at the anchors was overwhelming, a feeling of pure, unadulterated joy. 'Hot As Ice' truly lived up to its name – a fiery challenge that left me both exhausted and exhilarated.
