I recently had the opportunity to climb 'Projekt' in Převislá stěna. The grade is often debated, floating somewhere in the 8a+/8b range, which felt accurate given the experience. The route is characterized by powerful, sustained movements through a relentlessly overhanging wall. The crux involved a tricky sequence on small crimps leading to a dynamic move to a shallow pocket. Success demanded precise footwork and unwavering commitment. While the redpoint attempt was initially nerve-wracking, the feeling of clipping the chains after a sustained effort was incredibly rewarding. Převislá stěna itself is a stunning location, and 'Projekt' stands out as a true test piece within its formidable walls. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a challenging and rewarding climb in the Czech Republic.
