Our recent climb up the 'Tschatscherl Tour' in 'Sektor Mopperl' was a truly delightful experience. Graded at 4-, it offers a perfect balance of engaging climbing without being overly strenuous, making it an ideal choice for a relaxed yet rewarding day out. The approach to Sektor Mopperl is usually straightforward, leading to a charming and often less crowded climbing area. The rock quality on the 'Tschatscherl Tour' was generally good, providing solid holds and reliable friction across its varied pitches. We navigated through some enjoyable slab sections, interspersed with more featured climbing that kept us engaged. Protection felt adequate for the grade, allowing for a comfortable flow. From the summit, the views were expansive and breathtaking, offering a fantastic panorama of the surrounding landscape. The 'Tschatscherl Tour' is a testament to the joy of moderate alpine climbing – a classic route that combines beautiful scenery with engaging moves. A truly memorable day out on the rock.
