Derniéra

Climbing "Derniéra" (grade 8-) in Sokolík was a significant milestone for me. The route is a classic of the area, known for its technical crimps, powerful moves, and sustained difficulty. As you progress, the crux arrives – a sequence of dynamic reaches between seemingly impossible crimps, demanding both strength and perfect body positioning. Overcoming this section requires mental fortitude and unwavering commitment. The final part of the route continues with challenging, though slightly less intense, climbing leading to a satisfying top out. Successfully completing "Derniéra" felt like a true accomplishment, a testament to dedicated training and persistent effort. The beauty of the rock and the stunning views from the summit added to the overall rewarding experience.
