Zbem

Our recent ascent of 'Zbem,' a challenging grade 7 route in the rugged Totes Gebirge, was an unforgettable experience. The limestone provided excellent grip, but the sustained steep sections demanded precision and significant effort. Reaching the summit, the panoramic views across the vast karst plateau and distant peaks were absolutely breathtaking – a truly well-deserved reward for the intense climb. The descent, a combination of scrambling and multiple rappels, felt long and required careful navigation, but the profound sense of accomplishment overshadowed any fatigue. It was a magnificent day out in this wild and beautiful mountain range.
