The crisp morning air bit at our cheeks as we approached the majestic silhouette of Třívěžatá, its three distinct towers piercing the sky. Our objective: 'Mildovatá,' a grade 5 classic, famous for its elegant, yet deceptively sustained climbing. From the very first moves, the rock felt solid, a warm, grainy texture under my fingertips. The initial pitches flowed, a dance of balance and precise footwork. As we gained height, the exposure grew. The grade 5 section truly lived up to its reputation – not brute force, but a delicate choreography of smears and small positive edges, demanding constant attention and a cool head. Each breath was measured, each placement deliberate. The world fell away, replaced by the rhythm of my own movement and the silent conversation with the rock. Reaching the summit cairn, the panorama was breathtaking. The Bohemian Paradise spread out below us, a tapestry of green forests and sandstone formations. A profound sense of accomplishment washed over me, a quiet satisfaction that comes from pushing limits and immersing oneself fully in the present moment. Mildovatá isn't just a climb; it's an experience, a memory etched deeply into the sandstone of Třívěžatá and my own spirit.
