The Vienna Woods, usually known for its tranquil trails and lush greenery, hides pockets of challenging rock. 'Don't Worry,' a stout 8- (UIAA), had been on my radar for a while. The approach was pleasant, dappled sunlight filtering through the trees, building the anticipation. The route itself started with a deceptive slab, requiring precise footwork and unwavering trust in the friction. Then came the crux: a powerful, overhanging section with crimps that felt like razor blades. After several attempts, fighting my way through the burn, I clipped the chains with a triumphant yell. The feeling of accomplishment, blending the physical exertion with the beauty of the surrounding forest, was exhilarating. 'Don't Worry' proved to be a well-protected, thought-provoking climb, a worthy challenge in a surprising location. A perfect day of climbing!
