Nachtigall

Climbing 'Nachtigall' (7-) in the Vienna Woods was a fantastic experience! The route offered a diverse range of challenges, from technical crimps and delicate footwork in the initial section to a powerful, slightly overhanging crux move higher up. The rock was solid and well-featured, providing plenty of opportunities for good holds, though finding the right sequence for the crux was definitely key to success. The atmosphere of the Vienna Woods was serene and added to the overall enjoyment of the climb. Topping out felt rewarding, and the view, though partially obscured by trees, provided a glimpse of the surrounding landscape. Definitely a climb worth repeating for anyone looking for a challenging and scenic outing in the Vienna Woods.
