Climbing "Der Mühe Lohn" (8-) in the "Yogafaszination" area of Frankenjura was a truly rewarding experience. The route itself is a classic example of Frankenjura climbing: technical, demanding precise footwork, and requiring solid crimp strength. The crux, for me, involved a series of tricky moves on small holds leading to a good rest before a final powerful sequence to the anchors. The name, which translates to "The Reward for Effort," couldn't be more apt. It wasn't easy, requiring a lot of effort and determination, but topping out after battling through the crux provided a genuine sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. The surrounding scenery in "Yogafaszination" is beautiful, adding to the overall enjoyment of the climb. Definitely a must-do for any climber looking for a challenging and classic Frankenjura 8-.
