Via ferrata Los Tajos (K3 / B–C) is in the Parque de Turismo Activo «Los Tajos» at Los Zumaques, Alcalá la Real (Jaén, Andalusia). It opened to the public at the end of September 2026 and suits beginners and early intermediate climbers.
The line is about 300 m: rock steps plus a ~25 m boardwalk bridge, a ~25 m zip line, a Tibetan bridge, a second zip (~30 m), and a monkey bridge. Marked escapes let you skip harder sections. Recommended from age 16. Helmet, harness, and a certified ferrata kit with energy absorber are required.
Self-sufficient use is free if you bring your own gear and know how to clip. Clubs, schools, and guides (e.g. Takamaka Aventura) can lead groups and supply kit. Existing sport climbs at Los Zumaques were left in place when the park was built (Club Rompezapatos).
Approach from Alcalá la Real toward the Los Zumaques hillside (former landfill area). Allow roughly 2–3 hours for a guided outing.
