Climbing the Via Ferrata Ceria Merlone was an exhilarating experience! Rated B/C, it offered a great balance of challenge and accessibility. The exposure was thrilling, especially on some of the more vertical sections, but the excellent cable system and well-placed rungs inspired confidence. The views were absolutely stunning, panoramic vistas of the surrounding Dolomites unfolding with every meter gained. It required a decent level of fitness and some experience with via ferratas, but it was definitely a climb worth undertaking. The descent was straightforward, although a little tiring after the ascent. Overall, a fantastic day out and a truly memorable via ferrata!
