Climbing Via Ferrata Astragalus (grade C/D) was an exhilarating experience that truly tested my limits. The initial sections were relatively straightforward, allowing me to find my rhythm and adjust to the exposed position. However, as the route progressed, the challenges intensified. The C/D rating was definitely accurate; there were several sections requiring significant upper body strength and careful footwork. The vertical sections demanded deliberate movements, and the traverses across exposed rock faces provided a thrilling adrenaline rush. The views from the higher points were simply breathtaking, offering a stunning panorama of the surrounding landscape. The mental game was just as important as the physical; staying focused and maintaining a positive attitude were crucial for overcoming the more difficult passages. While challenging, the sense of accomplishment upon reaching the summit was incredibly rewarding. This via ferrata is highly recommended for experienced climbers looking for a demanding but ultimately fulfilling adventure.
