Climbing the Arzalpenturm (grade C) is a rewarding experience for beginner to intermediate climbers. The route, while relatively short, offers exposure and a taste of alpine climbing without requiring advanced technical skills. The rock is generally solid, but be mindful of loose scree, especially during the approach and descent. The views from the summit are spectacular, encompassing the surrounding valleys and peaks. The climb involves mainly scrambling and some short, easy pitches of climbing. Protection is generally good, with fixed bolts in place, but carrying a small selection of cams and nuts can provide extra security, especially on traversing sections. Overall, the Arzalpenturm is a classic Alpine tour that provides a great introduction to multi-pitch climbing.
