Petrohrad et ses environs est le plus grand site d'escalade de Bohême de l'Ouest. Les rochers de granite autour du village de Petrohrad, près de Podbořany, forment douze secteurs – les plus grands sont Brána, Vyhlídková skála, Pod hradem, Rybníček, Vlčí kopec et Josemit, puis Podzimní věž, Hřbitovní kameny, Kosobody, Bukov, Větrná hůrka et Stebenské skály.

L'escalade est surtout traditionnelle avec son propre matériel (friends), avec des voies au soleil comme à l'ombre. Vérifier les restrictions auprès de la fédération tchèque d'alpinisme avant de partir.
