Ostrava-Jih now has a free outdoor rope wall at Bělský les — roughly 10 m for lead climbing, next to the pumptrack and workout area. It opened on 29 July 2026.

Access is free, but there is no staff and no rental: bring your own rope, harness, quickdraws and belay device, and climb only if you can belay safely. The wall came out of the Náš Jih participatory budget and is run by the Ostrava-Jih district; a lounger / relax zone sits beside it.
