Koper’s outdoor wall brought high humidity and a packed Slovenian crowd for the penultimate Lead stop on 4–5 September.
Janja Garnbret overcame a slippery, humid route to take gold in front of her home fans, topping out ahead of the field for her 33rd Lead gold and 51st medal overall. USA's Brooke Raboutou climbed to silver with a high point of hold 33, her first medal of the 2026 season, while South Korea's Chaehyun Seo took bronze on hold 32+, extending her streak of podiums at every 2026 World Climbing Series event so far.
In the men's final, Japan's Neo Suzuki handled a route that caught out most of the field low on the wall, reaching hold 33+ for his third win of the season. Teammate Satone Yoshida took silver, and Indonesia's Putra Tri Ramadani claimed bronze — his second straight third-place finish.
